NF-Pro's fourth workshop

Since NF-PRO is approaching its final year of operation, main focus of the Fourth Workshop will be on the presentation of recent results and advancements in near-field research. Key experts will give state-of-the-art overviews on the safety function of various components of the near-field system and will provide comprehensive overviews of recent developments and conclusions from research by NF-PRO. The Workshop will discuss how results from the investigation of detailed near-field processes are integrated into the safety case. This will allow to identify knowledge gaps and outstanding issues as well as to set priorities in future national and EU supported research programmes. Accordingly, the Workshop is highly relevant to all those wanting to keep informed latest developments in waste disposal research and will provide a perfect point of departure for connecting with national repository development programmes as well as with future international research initiatives.
